Health

Future of Williamson Health/Medical Center: The potential sale of Williamson Health represents the largest financial transaction in Williamson County history.  I have been working to change state law so that the residents of Williamson County will be able to use the proceeds from any sale for the public benefit instead of the funds going into a private foundation.  I will continue to work through the commission to ensure that Williamson County residents receive the maximum benefit from this transaction.

 

Rural Preservation

Rural Preservation: The county must encourage agriculture through agri-tourism, ag-related development in the Urban Growth Boundaries (UGB), and other initiatives and promote dialogue with municipalities to ensure wise management of UGB’s.

 

Williamson County Schools

Williamson County Schools: Our schools rank among the best in Tennessee. I will continue t       to support responsible school funding, strong stewardship of taxpayer dollars, and strong 

 

Fiscal Responsibility

Fiscal Responsibility: Modernize county government, streamline operations, and upgrade technology to identify and eliminate waste. Responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars will help
control costs and prevent future tax increases.
